What is i-act?

i-act workplace mental health and wellbeing provides evidence-based training accredited by the Royal Collage of Psychiatrists.

It has been devised with a strong focus on understanding and managing common mental health issues in the workplace, such as stress, anxiety and depression. It follows a preventative model of wellbeing management with practical tools and guidance.

It is especially good if you are looking for training that is more tailored to the workplace, or making assessments of working practices as part of a wellbeing strategy and drive for workplace culture change.

  • Includes 156-page evidence-based course manual, toolkit and resource pack for each participant.

  • Manual includes over 45 tools to support colleagues and personal wellbeing, over 95 organisations to find support, and over 200 pieces of reputable evidence, researched by leading mental health experts.

  • Activities consider personal boundaries, confidentiality within the workplace, use of language, conversation starters, and wellbeing.

  • Best practice guidelines on the importance of not self-diagnosing or making assumptions about others, and effectively taking steps towards recovery.

  • Includes self-coaching and personal wellbeing assessment tools, tools for connecting, a guide to safe conversations, personal wellbeing plan templates (as recommended by HSE) and how to take action when in crisis.

    • Better understand mental health and wellbeing and recognise the signs of poor mental health.

    • Understand positive wellbeing, tackle stigma and build resilience for yourself and colleagues.

    • Understand how to connect with colleagues who may need support.

    • Be clearer about personal boundaries, workplace confidentiality, and how to set up a safe wellbeing conversation.

  • An "IACTED" evaluation tool to assess your interventions.

  • Includes coaching tools, tools for connecting, wellbeing assessment tools, a guide to save conversations, personal wellbeing plan templates (as recommended by HSE) and a level of concern tool.
