The Challenge

When people are struggling, it doesn’t stay personal – it shows up at work.

The organisations we work with care deeply about their people.

But they’re seeing rising stress, burnout and more difficult conversations, and they aren’t always sure how to respond.

This isn’t uncommon. It’s something many organisations are already dealing with day to day.

More than 5 million working days have already been lost to poor mental health in 2026. And nearly 1 in 3 employees reports experiencing anxiety or depression each year (UK workplace data, 2026).

Without the right support in place, people can end up feeling like they have to figure things out on their own. And when that happens, it starts to affect confidence and how people work together.

Why workplace mental health is important

Why it Matters

When people feel supported at work, everything works better

With the right support in place, the difference is noticeable, not just in how people feel, but in how they work together.

  • Managers feel more confident having conversations they would have previously avoided

  • Teams communicate more openly and support each other more effectively

  • Employees feel more understood, supported, and able to navigate challenges

  • Stress, burnout, and disengagement begin to reduce

  • Workplace culture becomes more open, connected, and sustainable

Workplace wellbeing doesn’t need to be complicated, but it does need to be meaningful and consistent to make a real difference.

How we can help

Meet Victoria

Victoria has spent over 14 years working in the mental health space, supporting organisations including the NHS, Network Rail, the police, local government, and universities. She now works closely with organisations to better support their people and leaders through practical workplace wellbeing training.

Before starting Minds That Work, she held leadership roles in both the corporate and voluntary sectors, including as CEO of a mental health charity. Through this, she saw first-hand how difficult it can be for people to get the right support at work, and how often managers are left unsure how to respond.

That experience is what led her to create Minds That Work.

Today, her work focuses on helping people feel more confident navigating conversations around mental health, while supporting organisations to create more compassionate, emotionally intelligent workplaces without adding unnecessary complexity.
