Our services
Our approach
-
At Minds That Work, we don't believe in mental health or training tickbox exercises. We work with you to devise the best strategy and delivery according to your specific needs and context.
We help define where you are, where you want to get to, and then devise how we can best support your desired outcomes - whether it's something completely new, or tailored to fit with your existing programmes.
It may be that you want to begin to build awareness, or you may be moving on to develop a deeper culture change and knowledge of the issues.
Perhaps you need to deliver meaningful improvements following feedback from an employee survey, or you may want to upskill leaders and managers to gain confidence so that they can instigate genuine and sustainable change, empowering them to make a difference to your workplace and team cultures.
Wherever you are in your psychological safety journey, we want to work with you to create robust strategies and training progammes to promote positive ongoing wellbeing for everyone.
-
All of our training seeks to create a safe environment where everyone is treated with warmth, understanding, compassion and respect.
Key elements of our training focus on developing a growth mindset, enhancing social and emotional intelligence and regulation, as well as nurturing self awareness, compassion, connection and resilience.
We cover issues such as mental health prevention, recognising the signs of stress and burnout, how to support a colleague in a crisis, and how to tackle stigma and discrimination wrapped up in compassionate leadership.
We also seek to improve understanding of human psychology and development, as well as the relationship of societal and individual growth and life experience. We believe this helps employees to better understand themselves and others, what they are going through, and to lead and interact more supportively and effectively in the workplace.
Our aim is to inspire hope and thoughtfulness and provide pragmatic guidance and steps to find ways forward on key wellbeing and workplace culture issues.
We also have the added value of a wide range of practical and tailored resources built up over many years.
Our four step process
1) Getting to know you
We work with you to understand your unique workplace needs and challenges so that we can tailor our services to provide the best fit and outcomes.
2) Clarifying your offer
Based on what we learn from you, and any needs analysis you may want, we set out a tailored programme of wellbeing training that will most benefit your employee and workplace culture, needs, and ambitions.
3) Supporting action
We support your drives to improve workplace wellbeing through bespoke, evidence-based and fit-for-purpose training - be it one session or a whole programme.
Our training aims to engage, challenge and inspire participants so that they come away better informed, and able to take appropriate steps to support their own, or others' wellbeing needs.
4) Proving value
We want our training to have meaning and make a difference.
By providing impact and feedback reports for all of our sessions, taking on any insights to inform our ongoing approach and to ensure maximum engagement and impact.
